When kids carry heavy feelings inside little frames, stories matter more than ever. The Zachary Kipwell books feature characters who learn and grow mentally. Young readers feel, express gratitude, and learn how things function, without insulting their natural intelligence. An orange kitten named Zachary Kipwell shows children how to see things through different perspectives. Every day, Zachary Kipwell travels through his world facing many of the same obstacles and challenges that small children do; however, as a cat, he faces them with bravery and natural curiosity. Rather than lecturing or preaching, these stories gently guide young readers through meaningful lessons wrapped in warmth, humor, and heart. It’s storytelling designed not just to entertain, but to nurture emotional adaptability.
The series combines imagination with emotional literacy to provide children with safe spaces from which to relate to Zach’s experiences and learn skills they can use for their own lives.
The first book, Zachary Kipwell and the Two-Far-Away Adventure, released worldwide in January 2026. In this charming debut, the young orange tabby cat named Zachary Kipwell lives happily in the little town of 2-Far Away. Everything there comes in twos, which has always suited Zachary quite nicely. He is comfortable with his two best friends, his two snacks each day from Dad, and his two goodnight kisses from Mom. However, Zachary can’t stop thinking about the nearby town, 3-Far Away, where the houses have three windows, and the cars have three wheels.

Each story is crafted to meet children where they are emotionally, tackling real-life struggles with empathy and authenticity. The next book in the Zachary Kipwell series, “Zachary Kipwell and the Big Yell,” will focus on managing anger and practicing self-regulation. Young readers will learn that having feelings isn’t bad and that what we do with our feelings is important through relatable moments, such as the “flower and candle” breathing technique. The series combines imagination with emotional literacy to provide children with safe spaces from which to relate to Zach’s experiences and learn skills they can use for their own lives.
Zachary Kipwell is more than a character
At its heart, Zachary Kipwell is more than a character; he’s a companion for children learning to grow. These books show families that emotional intelligence, gratitude, bravery, and self-control are more than simply sentiments; they’re also the way that we demonstrate these values through daily actions and activities. Each story in the Zachary Kipwell book series not only provides a story to share, but it also finds a supportive and nurturing environment for your child to grow as a person. Because sometimes the most powerful adventures aren’t about traveling farther, they’re about understanding ourselves a little better right where we are.
